Alex grew up in Mission Viejo and attended Chapman University where he received a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics. He stayed at Chapman for Law School where he graduated cum laude in 2009. While at Chapman Law he participated in law review and helped lead the moot court and mock trial teams to success. He passed the bar on his first attempt.
Since becoming an attorney he has been practicing Workers Compensation law exclusively. He has extensive experience with both Workers Compensation defense and applicant claims. Alex has handled all aspects of workers compensation claims -from simple treatment issues all the way through appeals of trial decisions.
Alex has been focused on representing safety officers since 2017. He has developed a professional passion for education of workers compensation rights for all workers, healthy or injured, and ultimately advocating for the rights of police, fire, and correctional officers.
Alex joined Slater & Associates and opened 4850 Law in 2025 to better represent injured workers by making improvements in direct client communication and how claims are handled.
